The Student Executive Committee is a group of students, that are elected each year by you, to work with us in making big decisions for the Students’ Union. Student Execs work with staff to make sure that your time at the College is the best it can be.
What They Do
Becoming a Student Executive means that you will attend great training days to improve your knowledge, skills and learn to be the voice of the students. You will assist at SU events and you will attend regular meetings to decide on really important matters, such as our yearly budget, events planning and more!
Why become a Student Executive?
The Student Exec role can help you grow in confidence, it provides you with responsibility and is great for your CV! You will become a part of a community, where you will make friends and represent students like yourself to improve the College.
When can I nominate myself?
We run Student Elections each year in March, where we elect our Student Executive Committee for the following academic year. Any returning student is able to nominate themselves for election.
If there is still vacant positions, we will run another election in October and advertise any positions that were not already filled. Any student who is studying at The College is able to nominate themselves.
