Housing

Where we live and what we call “home” is an important aspect to everyone’s lives. Housing situations can be very different for individuals, and it is important for everyone to live in a safe environment.

If you are in an unsafe environment or having difficulty funding your home, this can cause stress and have an impact on your wellbeing.
Whether you are looking to move house through choice or necessity, we have put together a list of organisations that can help reduce the impact that housing problems can have on your life.

If you have nowhere to stay tonight please come to the link at North Road or Lansdowne immediately, or call the safeguarding numbers on:

  • – North Road and The Fulcrum – 07714851103
  • – Lansdowne – 07774974781

BCHABCHA

Bournemouth Churches Housing Association was founded in 1968 by a number of local churches, to try to make a practical contribution to local housing problems. Our mission is to help people take control of their own lives.

Whenever people feel vulnerable or stuck, we want to equip them to find a way forward, by offering the highest standards of support for housing, health, learning and work – or any combination of these needs.

We want to be proactive and influential in local communities and national debates, to help eliminate homelessness and social exclusion. As a multi-discipline third sector organisation, we want to continuously develop our services, resources and partnerships, to help bring together the housing, health and social care sectors – and so deliver an ever-improving quality of support to society’s most in-need people.
